When you have to use a B-58 for your chase plane, you might be a bad ass.

The Valkyrie is damn impressive in person.

Is it a trick of perspective, or is the B-58 really that tiny (or the Valkyrie that big)? I know the Valkyrie is big, but I've only ever seen it pictured with fighters for chase planes so this is messing with my head.

The B-58 is not a big plane, but it's not that small, either. This shot has the Hustler very much in the distance.

The Valkyrie was almost twice as big as the Hustler. Length: 189 ft. vs. 97 ft. Wingspan: 105 ft. vs. 57 ft. (Numbers rounded up)

When you fly the Valkyrie, you're a badass for sure.

Badass for sure... But even that is relative. "Though I fly through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for I am at 80,000 ft and climbing."
